Following that, switching to a supportive sports bra or non-wired bra is recommended. Underwires can irritate the healing incisions.
Most patients return to work and their normal activities after one or two weeks; however, strenuous upper-body exercise must be avoided for at least six weeks or until Dr. Porshinsky has cleared you.
